10 Years, 100+ Sites, and a Lifetime Changed: My Webflow Story

From discovering Interactions to building with GSAP and AI—how Webflow shaped my career and creativity.

Post content:

It all started with a blog post.

I remember it like it was yesterday. The article talked about this new feature called Webflow Interactions. No CMS, no Logic, no eCommerce—just the raw magic of designing and animating in the browser. I had never seen anything like it.

I was hooked.

And then I met McGuire Brannon. Not in real life, of course—on YouTube. This guy made learning Webflow fun. His humor, his storytelling, his perfectly timed jokes turned tutorials into binge-worthy episodes. I learned the platform from start to finish thanks to him. To this day, I still go back to those videos for inspiration and nostalgia.

Then came Pixel Geek with his live streams, showing us how to push Webflow beyond the limit. He made the community feel like home. We weren’t just building websites—we were crafting superpowers.

And then, boomFinsweet changed everything. Their Attributes library? The AMG of Webflow. You want to build like a beast? Plug in Finsweet Attributes and your site flies.

Don’t even get me started on Relume. Their library of wireframes and sitemaps basically gave us the holy grail of web architecture. And now with their AI builder? Insane. Just... insane.

Being part of the wishlist, the forums, the late-night Slack convos—watching someone post a problem and another dev across the world drop the perfect answer? That’s the magic of this community.

Over the years, I’ve built hundreds of pages, served dozens of clients, and spent thousands of hours deep in Webflow’s canvas. Most of those sites are still live, still generating value, still proving that Webflow is not just a tool—it’s an ecosystem.

As I started building more complex sites, another superpower revealed itself: Webflow’s compatibility with the world. I’ve integrated it with Shopify for seamless product management, HubSpot for lead nurturing, Hotjar and Microsoft Clarity for behavioral insights, and Google Analytics for data-backed decisions. I even connected ScoreApp to deliver lead gen quizzes that actually convert. These integrations gave my websites not just beauty, but business intelligence.

And now? With GSAP integration, native Logic, and AI tools popping up left and right—we’re just getting started.

Webflow didn’t just teach me how to build websites. It gave me a career. A craft. A way to express, connect, and grow.

I left WordPress behind the moment I discovered Webflow. That was the day I realized I could build entire websites on my own—no engineers, no developers, just me and the platform. It was a life-changer.

Today, I’m proud to be part of the Webflow Colombia community, which is growing faster than ever. A huge shoutout to Carlos Sepúlveda, who’s taken this community to a whole new level. A true legend—I'll never forget seeing him win the speed build challenge during Webflow Conf in California. Watching a fellow Colombian take the crown felt like watching our national team win the World Cup. What a weekend!

And now, with AI coding platforms like Replit and ChatGPT, the future is even brighter. We’re not just building websites anymore—we're creating web apps and SaaS products with AI agents that will take everything we’ve built so far and launch it into another universe.

The next chapter? It’s already being written.

Here’s to what’s next. Let’s keep building.
